If you are building or designing a multi dwelling apartment project and you require a smart automation system to help you stand out from the crowd, then we can tailor a solution to meet your exact requirements and budget.
Our control solution is built on the global open standard (DALI2) and is the only control system that currently is listed as an Australian standard.
The system is scalable and completely future proofed and has a very affordable and cost effective entry point, meaning a base system can be put into the apartments that can easily be upgraded and added to by the occupants at a later date if required.
Wired or wireless options are available to make installation simple and in fact our wireless solution is simpler than installing conventional wiring for switches and etc.
Some of the key options that can be added to the system:
- Smart Lighting Control
- Have the lighting in each space tuned to give the exact amount of light required to suit each space and select a scene that suits your mood or activity.
- Exhaust Fan, Heat Lamps and Heated Towel Rails Control
- Control Exhaust Fans to ensure rooms are always ventilated and heat lamps and heated towel rails are only on when they need to be.
- Ceiling Fan Control
- Control your ceiling fans from the lighting control panels to reduce wall clutter of separate fan switches.
- Blind Control
- Add seamless control of your blinds from the lighting control panels, automate them based on time of day and add them to your favourite scene to completely setup up a room from a single push of a button.
- App Control
- Control your apartment from anywhere in the world through your smart device, turn lights on and close blinds when not home or even pre cool your house before arriving home.
- Air Conditioning Control
- Integrate the system to control the AC from a central location and automate it as part of your scenes and overall control, options for controlling splits as well as ducted systems are available.
- AV Control
- Control your AV equipment from a central point or smart device.
- Intercom Systems & Access Control
- Integrate the sites intercom system into the overall control, utilise a single touch screen controller in the apartment to receive incoming calls as well as control the lighting and etc in the apartment.
- Voice Control
- Voice control can be added to the system to allow simple control of the system via voice commands.
User interfaces
There is a plethora of options for switches and touchscreens to suit any décor and budget, from basic buttons to stylish glass switches or a range of touchscreens.

FAQ
Q. What should we focus on first when looking at a system?
A. Lighting Control should be the first thing to consider when implementing a system, it is the heart of the system and the main thing that the occupants will interact with daily. Adding nice switches that are labelled and easy to use and having simple scenes like welcome home and goodnight add a great touch to any apartment.
Q. Do I need to provide DALI lights for the system to operate correctly?
A. No, most definitely not. Although adding DALI lights does give some extra features (fittings can be controlled individually, automatically tuneable colour temps etc), they are not required. If you want dimmable lighting but are on a budget you can choose from a large range of fittings that are on the market that can be dimmed with phase dimming modules, or relay modules can be used to provide simple on/off control.
Q. Is this complicated to install?
A. Installation is fairly straightforward and the wireless option is very simple, with switches and control devices (relays, dimmers etc) simply connected to 240v with all communications between devices being wireless through the mesh network.
Q. Is this type of system expensive?
A. It doesn’t need to be, a basic system can be put together with relatively small outlay. Obviously prices will vary depending on the number and type of control channels and the type and finishes of the control panels, as well as what exactly you want the system to control. But as a starting point, a basic 2 bedroom apartment, with dimming control of main living areas and on/off control of lighting in other areas with a smart switch in each space will set you back approx. $2-3k for supply and commission of the system. This price can go down by using more basic switches or can go up by using better finishes and adding more features. Ultimately we can work with the budget you have to provide a great system.
Q. Why should I choose this system?
A. This system is built on a global open protocol (DALI2), it is the international standard for Lighting Control and Automation and is also the only standard published by AS/NZS Standards. The system is expandable and future proofed and on the back of that it is supported form a control specialist that has been in business for over 22years!
